Schoolhouse Talk was launched in the fall of 2007 in order to start a conversation in Columbia and the surrounding community about local school-related issues. We’ll blend elements of traditional journalism with reader-generated community storytelling. The faces behind this project are students and faculty at the Missouri School of Journalism who work as editors, reporters, photographers and online media specialists.
In an effort to engage the community in a conversation about k-12 education, we will blend elements of traditional journalism with reader-generated community story telling—bringing together Missourian and MyMissourian-type content.
This is an interactive forum designed with the community in mind. We’d love to hear feedback, post your submissions and publish education-related photos or artwork.
Please feel free to e-mail us with submissions at mymissourian@gmail.com or with feedback to education editor Liz Brixey at brixeye@missouri.edu.
